1. Product Introduction
HSSB202 live cable identification instrument, also known as cable identification instrument, multi-function cable identification instrument, intelligent cable identification instrument, is designed for power cable engineers and cable workers to solve the technical problems of cable identification. Users can accurately identify one of the target cables from multiple cables through the instrument to avoid serious accidents caused by mistaken sawing of live cables. Cable identification starts from the operation at both ends of the cable. The double numbering at both ends of the cable must be accurate. This instrument is designed with PSK technology combined with precise algorithms. No matter how reliable the memory of the on-site staff is, it cannot replace the identification of professional instruments. This product also has the functions of live cable identification, power-off cable identification, AC current testing, and AC voltage testing. It consists of a transmitter, a transmitting current clamp, a receiver, and a receiving flexible current clamp.
Transmitter: Transmits signals to the target cable during live cable identification and power-off cable identification. It has a built-in high-power rechargeable lithium battery, automatic impedance matching, and fully automatic protection. The transmitter adopts an integrated special tool box design, using polypropylene plastic as the raw material, adding a new type of composite filler for one-time injection molding, with low density, strength, rigidity, hardness, wear resistance, heat resistance, and insulation performance. The box can withstand a pressure of about 200kg, and the host's large LCD displays the remaining battery power in real time, with white backlight and dynamic indication of the transmission signal, which is clear at a glance.
Transmitter clamp: When identifying live cables, the transmitter clamp couples the signal emitted by the transmitter to the target cable. The jaw size is Φ120mm. The transmitter clamp is directional, and the transmission signal flows in from the direction indicated by the arrow on the transmitter clamp.
When identifying live cables: the clamp coupling output pulse current is used to transmit four frequencies: 625Hz, 1562Hz, 2500Hz, and 10kHz. It is coupled to the target cable through the transmitter clamp (the target cable is a three-core armored cable), and a composite pulse current signal is injected into the cable core. The pulse current generates an electromagnetic field around the target cable for the receiver and flexible current clamp to detect and identify; because the pulse current is directional, the detection is also directional.
When identifying power outages: direct output pulse current is used to inject pulse coded current signals into the cable core. The current generates an electromagnetic field around the target cable for the receiver and flexible current clamp to detect, decode, and identify. Because the current is directional, the detection is also directional.
Receiver: It is a handheld device with a 3.5-inch color LCD screen and a built-in high-speed microprocessor. Combined with precise algorithms, it can identify and decode the pulse coded current signal of the transmitter. It also has a signal strength calibration function to display the signal strength and test results, which is exquisite and intuitive. The color scale bar is dynamically displayed, which is clear at a glance. The cable identification is successful and the non-target cable is marked with ×. The target cable can be quickly and automatically identified. At the same time, the voltage range that can be tested is AC 0.00V~600V (50Hz/60Hz), the AC current range that can be measured is AC 0.00A~5000A (50Hz/60Hz), and the current frequency that can be measured is 45Hz~70Hz.
Flexible current clamp: It is a Roche coil with excellent transient tracking ability. It can quickly identify the pulse coded current generated by the transmitter and is suitable for thick cables or irregularly shaped conductors. The inner diameter of the clamp is about 200mm, and it can clamp cables below Φ200mm. It is not necessary to disconnect the measured line. Non-contact measurement is safe and fast.
Special note: This cable identification instrument has both live cable identification and power-off cable identification functions. When identifying power-off cables: it is strictly forbidden to connect to live cables. Live cable identification is only applicable to three-core armored cables. When identifying, the transmitting clamp and the receiving clamp cannot be mixed, and the direction of the input signal must be consistent.
