2. Introduction to working principle
The transmitter and receiver of the cable identification instrument adopt single-chip microcomputer encoding and decoding technology and PSK technology widely used in the communication field. The phase-coded signal with an average value of 0 is transmitted on the transmitting clamp. The single-chip microcomputer in the receiver performs phase identification after filtering the received signal by hardware and software. Point the arrows of the transmitting clamp and the receiving clamp to the cable terminal. When the receiver clamp clamps a certain cable, the receiver ammeter deviates to the right, accompanied by sound and light indication. When clamping other cables, the ammeter deviates to the left, the current direction is opposite to that of the identified cable, and there is no sound and light indication. This reflects the uniqueness of the identified target cable. It is easy to make a clear distinction between the identified cable and multiple cables. Since the signal current strength on the identified cable is the same throughout the line, the electromagnetic signal strength received by the receiving clamp along the cable is consistent, and the identified cable is not limited by the length of the identified cable.
