I. Overview
HSND2000 Kinematic Viscosity Automatic Tester for Petroleum Products complies with GB/T265-1988 "Method for Determining Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products and Calculating Dynamic Viscosity", and is suitable for determining the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (Newtonian liquids). This method refers to measuring the time for a certain volume of liquid to flow through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under gravity at a constant temperature. The product of the capillary constant of the viscometer and the flow time is the kinematic viscosity of the liquid measured at that temperature (the product of the kinematic viscosity at that temperature and the density of the liquid at the same temperature is the dynamic viscosity of the liquid at that temperature).
HSND2000 Kinematic Viscosity Automatic Tester for Petroleum Products adopts advanced fuzzy PID temperature control technology, with precise temperature control and an accuracy of ±0.02℃. It can set 20℃, 40℃, 60℃, 80℃, 100℃ and other temperature control points specified by the national standard, and can set any temperature control (the set temperature must be higher than the room temperature), and the set temperature resolution is 0.1℃, which can be used as an ordinary constant temperature water bath.
HSND2000 Petroleum Product Kinematic Viscosity Automatic Tester can simultaneously enable 4 glass capillary viscometers to measure the kinematic viscosity at the same constant temperature. Each viscometer can repeat the measurement 4 times as a set of test data. The instrument will automatically remove the timing results that do not meet the tolerance according to the national standard method requirements, and take the average of the other timing values that meet the tolerance to calculate and obtain the kinematic viscosity value of the group test. When it is not necessary to obtain the measurement results accurately (often in order to roughly observe the approximate kinematic viscosity value of the unknown sample), the timing times can be set to a smaller value, such as 1, 2, or 3 times, so that the approximate kinematic viscosity value of the tested sample can be obtained in a shorter time. After that, the timing times are changed to 4 times, and the final kinematic viscosity value of the tested sample can be accurately obtained in strict accordance with the national standard method requirements.
