1. Overview
The reliable and effective connection between the grounding conductor of the power equipment and the ground grid is the fundamental guarantee for the safe operation of the equipment. The grounding conductor is the connecting part between the power equipment and the ground grid. During the long-term operation of the power equipment, the connection point may be affected by moisture and other factors, resulting in corrosion or even breakage of the contact, which will increase the resistance of the connection point between the grounding conductor and the main grounding grid, thereby failing to meet the requirements of the power regulations, causing unsafe hidden dangers in the operation of the equipment, and in serious cases, causing the equipment to lose ground. Therefore, in the "Twenty-five Key Requirements for Preventing Major Accidents in Power Production", it is clearly stated that the continuity detection of the grounding device down conductor should be carried out once a year.
The grounding conductor continuity tester is a highly automated portable tester developed by our company.
